Manusmriti burnt in Delhi University, three students detained

Activists of Krantikari Yuva Sangathan (KYS) and left-backed All India students affiliation (AISA) burnt Manusmriti, terming it a derogatory text for women’s Pressography. Even as KYS burnt Manusmriti outside Hansraj university as a symbolic protest towards the “casteist management of the university” wherein one of its activists become assaulted on April four inside the university allegedly in front of the most important, the AISA held the event at Arts college at the eve of the beginning anniversary of BR Ambedkar.

Consistent with police officials, 3 college students have been detained at Maurice Nagar police station given regulation and order issues and were launched later.
